We invest up to Up to $1M uncapped SAFE in qualified startups. For exceptional companies showing strong traction, we can also lead or participate in follow-on rounds of up to $10M+.

We typically invest in pre-seed to seed stage companies with some initial traction, product-market fit signals, or exceptional founder pedigree. While we're stage-agnostic for truly exceptional opportunities, most Fellows companies are raising their first institutional round.

We invest in visionary builders with exceptional track records. This could be previous startup success, remarkable achievements in academia, industry expertise, or demonstrated ability to execute at an extraordinary level. We're looking for generational founders who can build Fortune 500 companies.

No, Soma Fellows is a global program. While we have a strong presence in SF and NYC and encourage founders to leverage our physical spaces when possible, you can build your company from anywhere in the world.

We invest via uncapped SAFE notes with founder-friendly terms. The exact equity percentage depends on your company's valuation and funding amount. We're aligned for the long-term and focused on helping you build a generational company.

Unlike traditional accelerators, Soma Fellows isn't time-bound. Once you're a Fellow, you become part of our lifelong network. We're committed to supporting you through multiple funding rounds and company milestones as your most connected, hardest-hustling partner.

Soma Fellows is our investment program for scaling startups, while Soma Scholars is a grant-based summer program for exploring new ideas. Fellows receive equity investment to scale existing companies, while Scholars get no-strings-attached grants to build and experiment.
